This project contains two parts. First, I need to choose a mentor and rebrand them in a new way, then use the new brand style guide to create packaging for two food items. I chose Edward Hopper as my mentor for this project. Hopper was a realist painter; he was really good at using shadow and light in his art. His works remind me of silence, tranquillity, and calm, so I decided to name this brand Serenity. I wanted to create a natural, peaceful, and minimal feeling for the brand identity, so I decided to go for healthy and organic food, yogurt, and its perfect match, granola. I used the same colour palette and simple layout for both packaging. To echo Hopper’s design style, I created a pattern with contrasting colours and used it as the signature pattern for the brand. There was also a brand booklet which provided additional information on the product.

All assets were created in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
