This design is a project from the Visual Communication class. I was assigned to write a biography for a well-known designer and create a digital brochure.

I chose Milton Glaser as my mentor; he is considered one of the most influential graphic designers in the world. His famous work includes the “I Love New York” logo, Bob Dylan’s Greatest Hits Poster, etc.
This brochure introduces Milton’s life and masterpieces, and I used the grid to create different layouts. The front cover of this brochure is inspired by the logo of Milton Glaser, Inc. The font used on the cover is Glaser Stencil, which Milton designed in 1970. The linework of his portrait is in the background. The brochure is ended with Milton’s final project before his death. The graphic is called “Together,” which is a response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The back cover is the alternate of the “I Love New York” symbol, and Milton Glaser’s initial is in the middle of the page.

This project was designed using Adobe Illustrator.
